Half-Life 2:

Just want to get a list of people who currently own a copy of Half-Life 2 and are members of SE, also please list some of your favorite mods if you have any, Thanks

i scabbed the GOTY from phil ages ago but it doesnt work

He may of registered the CD-key to steam already, so that product is pretty much useless for multi unfortunatly and it'll be very difficult to find one that's not in use with the keygens u find all over the net, Plus half of those keygens have embeded trojans to nab Sekret personal sexy info, like nekked pics of linkeh, Or bank details, what ever preference the attacker has.

Yeah Kenshin, gotta watch for that. I know only too well what the consequences of downloading Keygens or Serials are.
I lent a game to a friend and never got the manual with the serial key back, system crash had to format, then needed a serial code....

Easy Fix Solution: Format Regularly - nice way of getting rid of Trojans and god knows what else, I heard that its nearly guaranteed that any computer connected to the internet for about a year has something malicious on it. and that computers without any protection will have something malicious on it within 10minutes of being on the internet

I have hl2 My favorite mods are.. Garry's mod,Counter-Strike source and zombie master (beta)

I heard about the zombie mod.
one zombie kills other players and they turn into zombies or something, the idea is for the players to last as long as they can against the zombies?

o i played zombie mod. its so fukin fun. cept when they swarm you :S cuz only headshots hurt them and they have 400hp an regen..

my mate has CS:S and HL2-DM, and he's letting me share his steam account , but only CS:S map either of us can play on is Fy_iceworld (we both have laptops :S )

btw will the new mb2 be just for Normal HL2... or will me and my mate be able to use HL2-DM (same engine lol)

With 2nd hand copies, you run the risk of the CD Key being registered on another account. Like Kenshin said, gaming stores will have it, HL2, Game of the Year edition etc

last time i checked EBgames only has mods for it btw danny did u mean GOTY will work for the new mb2? or that's the version ill be able to find???

GOTY edition is what I got too, has HL2, CS:S, Lost coast, etc, that'll work with that MB2 mod whenever its released for HL2

There's a few versions, not sure what ones you will be able to find at retail stores. Hl2, HL2 Collectors Edition, GOTY Edition will all work with Mods. MB:Source won't be out for quite a while though.

The game and graphics will run very smoothly.

man i just got on the phone to EB in brisbane city and HL2 is not sold nemore, it all went up in the air.. u cant buy ne steam nemore they say, the only HL2 being sold is Episode 1, Episode 2 when it comes out... which fucking sucks. however, any of u have a copy i can buy then....

u can buy half life and C:SS ect from the steam site, register a steam account, do it thro paypal or credit cards....its the only way to do it..

also, hl and C:SS pack is being rereleased at the end of the year accordin to EB in melbourne.

also my parents dont trust internet purchases :/ will try and convince tho...

Very wierd...here in NZ you can still get the retail version at stores, so it still is sold. Have no idea what EB was on about.

HL2 is out of print, but their releasing a version with everything once ep2 comes out, HL2 all the sold mods, ep1&2 waitin for that ^^

Well as yet hl2 seems to be one of the most liked ideas for expansion. How many people have/will get this, and how many of you would like to see SE move into it.
